  • Snow Day Policy:

    You will be notified via email, social media, text, and website if classes or workshops are canceled. If you are in a 6 week class, you will be given the make-up date, which is typically added to the end of the session. If you are in a 1-day workshop you will also receive a text or email with options.

    Please add lapetitepommeglassworks@gmail.com to your address book so that you do not miss important updates.

    Classes may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Registrations are non-refundable but may be transferred to another class.

    Important note: If you chose to not come to a class or a workshop based on the weather but the studio is still open you will not be refunded or pro-rated.

  • Cancellation Policy: Please be sure you can attend class at the time of registration. All sales final, no refunds.

    Credit towards a future class will be offered. Must be used within 90 days.

  • MAKE UP POLICY FOR A 6 WEEK CLASS: Missed classes will not be prorated. We will do our best to get students caught up when there is an absence but any additional make-up times are up to individual teacher discretion. Many of our teachers have other jobs and busy schedules as well.

  • We offer stained glass, mosaic, and fused glass classes.

    Private events can be scheduled at our London location or we can come to you!

  • No. Cutting glass and preparing for classes is time consuming, which doesn’t leave extra time for glass repairs. We refer glass repair work to Franklin Art Glass in Columbus, Ohio.

  • We highly recommend taking a beginner class to learn the techniques used in stained glass before trying the process on your own.

    When you’re ready, you will need:

    • glass cutter

    • running pliers

    • nippers/grozing pliers

    • glass grinder

    • copper tape

    • burnishing tool/FID

    • flux

    • 60/40 solder

    • heat proof mat

    • soldering iron

    • flux remover

    • patina (black or copper)

    • finishing compound for polishing
